Job summary

NPAworldwide, based in Michigan, seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to drive product development from concept to launch, mentor teams, and align engineering, sales, operations, and quality with the company's growth strategy.

You will oversee budgets, roadmaps, audits, and continuous improvement, partnering with OEMs and Tier1 customers to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in automotive manufacturing and product development (injection moulding).
• 5+ years leading engineering teams with OEM/Tier 1 experience.
• Proven success in product development, business growth and customer management.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams through launches.
• Technical knowledge: APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Injection Molded Components, Design Validation & Testing, IATF 16949, CAD tools, VA/VE, Program Management.
• Key competencies include strategic leadership, CRM, business acumen, negotiation, finance, innovation, and communication.
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from concept through production launch.
• Oversee engineering timelines, deliverables, and launch readiness.
• Coordinate validation, testing, and certification requirements.
• Support DFMEA/Design reviews and design validation activities.
• Drive innovation strategies and maintain product technology roadmap.
• Lead revenue growth through customer relationship management and strategic planning.
• Develop pricing strategies and commercial proposals for new opportunities.
• Lead customer presentations, technical reviews, and executive business reviews.
• Develop annual business plans, forecasts, and growth strategies.
• Identify new market opportunities and product expansion initiatives.
• Serve as executive contact for key customers and OEMs; resolve issues.
