Job summary

OPW in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Product Engineer to lead front-end design for a diverse line of fluid transfer products. You will use CAD to create 3D models and drawings, collaborate with product management, and drive prototypes from concept through testing.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5+ years of design or manufacturing support experience. On-site work, DFMA principles, and interaction with operations are key to delivering safe, durable products.

Qualifications

• BSME required with 3–5+ years in design, application engineering, or product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD to create detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings from voice of customer input.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes to ensure safety, functionality, durability, reliability, and regulatory objectives are met.
• Work with operations to develop and optimize manufacturing processes using DFMA principles.
• Manage engineering change process and document new product designs or improvements.
