Job summary

OPW in Hamilton, OH is seeking an Applications Engineer to translate field data into accurate quotes for custom fluid-transfer systems. You will provide advanced CAD designs, 3D models, and system layouts per engineering standards, bridging sales and production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in engineering quoting, strong CAD skills (Creo/ProE and AutoCAD), and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Onsite role with potential for a discretionary bonus; join a global leader in fluid-handling

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME/BSMET).
Two years of professional engineering or technical quoting experience.
Experience using 3D CAD programs (Creo/ProE preferred) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
Position based in Hamilton, OH; onsite work required.

Responsibilities

Estimation "Custom Equipment Quoting": quote custom pipe and swivel equipment and complex terminal layouts.
Meet KPI targets for quote accuracy, technical verification, and turnaround speed.
Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support production.
Collaborate with internal sales to translate field requirements into viable options.
Coordinate with sales, engineering, manufacturing and other departments to streamline quoting-to-PO workflow.
