Job summary

Destaco in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Product Engineer to drive front-end design of fluid-handling products. You will collaborate with engineers and product management from concept through prototyping to production, using Creo and Windchill to deliver robust designs.

The role requires 3–5+ years in design or product engineering, strong communication, and DFMA knowledge, with up to 10% travel. Based in the Knappco facility in Hamilton, OH, you will support manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of design or product engineering experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling using Creo; Windchill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD to create detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings from voice of customer input.
• Manage project plans, meet deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams through stage-gate process.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes to meet safety, functionality, durability, and regulatory objectives.
