Job summary

OPW Fueling Components, LLC in Hamilton, OH, is seeking a design engineer to lead front-end product design for a fluid transfer product line. You will collaborate with engineers and product management from initial design and prototyping to testing and production to deliver high-quality components.

The role requires 3–5+ years in design or engineering, strong CAD skills (Creo preferred), DFMA and FMEA knowledge, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
3-5+ years in design, engineering or manufacturing support.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical info.

Responsibilities

Use CAD to create detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings based on voice of customer input.
Manage project plans, meet deadlines and cost targets, and lead cross-functional teams.
Build, test, and refine prototypes for safety, function, and reliability.
Develop manufacturing processes using DFMA principles with operations.
Document design changes, BOMs, drawings, FMEA, and other data.
Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
Assist customer service and sales with escalated technical inquiries.
