Job summary

The Euclid Chemical Co. is seeking a qualified professional primarily responsible for lab testing and field trials for new product development, as well as training TM’s and installers on product installations and system setup and maintenance.

This role acts as a technical liaison for field personnel and internal departments, spanning market research, lab analysis for field failures, product training, and support for large projects. Travel across NA; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• Must proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
• Flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
• Travel within company plants, distribution facilities, and installations; focus on North America; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing market research for Product Managers and marketing services.
• Performs laboratory, forensic analysis for field failures and product recommendations.
• Provides product and application training for sales engineers and field sales managers as required.
• Provides field training and project management for foreign affiliates and large/complex projects.
• Assists in new product development including lab work, field trials, and commercial scale-up.
• Special order custom product needs and approval for experimental and discontinued products.
• Enters new product information (formula, in-process, updates, price and cost) into system.
• Maintains technical literature and creates/edits technical and promotional publications.
• Provides outside sales support and handles incoming calls and lead qualification.
