Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, test, and support new and existing products and components, and to fabricate and test prototypes. This on-site role releases final product for manufacture and distribution.

It’s an on-site position at our Carrollton, Texas facility. The role will manage projects from start to finish, plan and develop layouts, conduct tests, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality, cost, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
5–7 years of engineering experience in product design in manufacturing.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
Strong CAD, GD&T, and DFMEA/FEA skills.
Experience with steel fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and develop products or components for assigned projects.
Lead engineering changes and updates to BOMs; coordinate cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal groups to resolve design issues.
Support field tests, prototype development, and product validation.
Create product documentation, manuals, and layout drawings.
