Job summary

Amcor is seeking a results-oriented project leader to manage the planning and execution of new and improved products. You will coordinate across engineering, quality, procurement, and operations to balance cost, timelines, and resources.

You will guide teams through data-driven decisions, ensure adherence to budgets, and drive continuous improvement in our packaging programs. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; packaging discipline preferred
• 8+ years of experience with injection and blow molding equipment, tooling, and processing
• Deep technical knowledge in this industry and understanding of trends
• Travel 50%

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-profile projects simultaneously and allocate resources effectively
• Provide technical leadership across engineering projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form to coordinate all project aspects
• Develop and implement resource plans to ensure successful project completion
• Manage internal and external customers and project budgets
• Interpret SPC data and guide decision making for project direction
• Lead teams without direct reporting lines
• Understand and apply EBM, ISBM, IBM, and IM technologies
• Possess CAD and Excel proficiency for project work
• Ensure budgets and capital/expense plans are tracked and met
• Adapt to procedural boundaries while driving process improvements
• Decide and steer project direction based on financial metrics
