Job summary

SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Product Development professional to drive growth across Shark floorcare product lines, partnering with Engineers, Marketers and more to deliver a 5-star consumer experience. You’ll own day-to-day business management, conduct user research, and push product improvements from concept to shelf.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in product development or related fields, a consumer-first mindset, and strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or related field.
• A passion for hair care or beauty helps; experience in beauty/haircare products is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• A 100% consumer-first perspective when introducing new products or improving processes.
• Ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – to present and influence at all levels.
• Strong project management skills to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to embrace transparency and shifting priorities while focusing on the path forward.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shark floorcare business with development of profitable programs for key products, driving day-to-day management and enhancements.
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications balancing consumer needs, market gaps, and technology.
• Own assigned categories’ sales performance and identify opportunities to fill gaps.
• Lead competitive analyses to keep Shark ahead as the consumer’s top choice.
• Be the voice for legacy products by sharing insights for next-generation features.
• Partner with Testing and Quality teams to define and manage testing procedures.
• Act as the product expert for cross-functional teams.
