Job summary

SharkNinja seeks a product development professional at our Needham, MA headquarters to own new product development from brainstorm to mass production and to define the category direction for key products. You will collaborate across leadership to ensure profitable programs and strong consumer focus.

You will analyze sales performance, conduct competitive analyses, and translate consumer insights into next-generation features in partnership with SharkNinja Testing and Quality.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination.
• 100% consumer-first perspective when introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
• Relationship-building across multi-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills.
• Communication for Impact is critical for this role and requires strong presentation and written skills.
• Strong project management skills to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite in Needham, MA with development of profitable programs for key products and lead new product development from brainstorm to mass production.
• Define and iterate product specs balancing consumer needs, market white space, and product technologies.
• Own assigned categories’ sales performance and identify opportunities to fill gaps.
• Lead competitive product analyses to benchmark against competitors and drive improvements.
• Share consumer/market insights with Product Developers to inform next-gen features.
• Partner with Testing and Quality to define and manage testing procedures.
• Serve as the product expert for cross-functional teams.
