Job summary

SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Product Development professional to drive the lifecycle of key consumer products from concept to mass production. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights into tangible product plans and ensure stellar end-user experiences.

The role requires 1–2+ years in product development or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Customer-first perspective when introducing new products or improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site in Needham, MA HQ with development of successful programs for key products and lead new product development from brainstorm to mass production.
• Define the over-arching category direction in collaboration with leadership for the team.
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications balancing consumer needs with market white space.
• Own assigned categories’ sales performance and identify opportunities to improve.
• Lead competitive analyses to keep SharkNinja competitive in the market.
• Share insights from consumers with Product Development focused on NPD and feedback incorporation.
• Partner with Testing and Quality to define and manage testing procedures.
• Act as the product expert for cross-functional team questions and concerns.
