SharkNinja, a global product design and technology company headquartered in Needham, MA, seeks a product development professional to drive profitable programs across Shark floorcare and related product lines. You will define specifications aligned with consumer needs and market opportunities, owning category performance and collaborating with engineers, marketers, and more.

You’ll lead competitive analyses, share insights from customers and markets for NPD, and partner with Testing and Quality

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or related field.
• Passion for hair care or beauty realm preferred (hair tools, cosmetics tools).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Consumer-first perspective for new products/processes or improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, white space in the market, and product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.
• Take ownership of assigned categories’ sales performance and identify opportunities to fill gaps.
• Lead competitive product analyses and provide insights to improve SharkNinja’s position.
• Be the voice of legacy product lines and incorporate consumer feedback into next-gen products.
• Partner with Testing and Quality to define and manage testing procedures.
• Act as product expert for cross-functional teams and inquiries.
