The role involves developing profitable programs for Shark floorcare products, defining specs, analyzing sales performance, and collaborating with Engineers, Marketers, and QA teams. A consumer-first mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, or human factors engineering.
• Passion for hair care or beauty is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• 100% on consumer-first perspective when introducing new products or processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shark floorcare business with development of profitable programs for key products and drive day-to-day business management.
• Define and iterate product specifications combining consumer needs, market gaps and technology.
• Own assigned categories’ sales performance and identify opportunities for new products.
• Lead competitive product analyses to benchmark Shark against competitors.
• Share insights from consumers and market with NPD-focused teams to inform next-gen features.
• Partner with Testing and Quality teams to define and manage testing procedures.
• Act as the product expert for cross-functional teams.
