Job summary

Instagram is seeking a Product Designer to lead the Shop Everything initiative, turning creators' content into storefronts and enabling native shopping across Feed, Reels, Stories, and Profile. You will design end-to-end experiences for creators to monetize content and for consumers to purchase, with AI-assisted flows and a cross-catalog marketplace.

Qualifications

8+ years building and shipping applications at company scale.
Experience defining end-to-end experiences within a large, ambiguous domain.
Experience presenting work to executives and stakeholders.
Proficiency in typography, UI, layout, and visual aesthetics.
Experience with AI prototyping, prompt engineering, and tool integration.
Understanding of the creator ecosystem and related tools.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end creator commerce experience from product discovery to earnings.
Design shoppable content formats that are native, trustworthy, and delightful.
Innovate on AI-assisted creation flows to reduce friction and enable new behaviors.
Define the end-to-end purchase experience from interest to checkout.
Rebuild product detail pages around AI-assisted decision-making.
Design a persistent cross-app cart and trusted checkout processes.
Establish interaction models for delegated purchasing and user control.
Drive long-term vision for creator commerce and conversion across Instagram.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to build conviction.
