Job summary

Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. As a Product Designer for Shop Everything, you will own a core area of this initiative—defining how creators monetize content and how shoppers discover and purchase products within Instagram, across Feed, Reels, Stories, and Profile.

You will design both creator and consumer sides, focusing on AI-assisted flows, trust, and a seamless checkout experience, while collaborating with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field and 8+ years of experience.
• 8+ years building and shipping applications at company scale in a large, ambiguous domain.
• Strong interaction design principles and prototyping tool experience to demonstrate interactions.
• Proficiency in typography, UI layout, color, and iconography and their product impact.
• Strategic thinking with goals, opportunities in a global market, and data-driven decisions.
• Experience presenting work to executives with clear goals and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end creator commerce experience from discovery to earnings and insights.
• Design shoppable content formats that are native, trustworthy, and delightful for consumers.
• Innovate on AI-assisted creation flows to reduce friction and unlock new behaviors.
• Shape the end-to-end purchase experience from interest to cart and checkout.
• Rebuild product detail pages around AI-assisted decision-making.
• Design a persistent cross-app cart that fits intermittent shopping behavior.
• Establish interaction models for delegation, control, transparency, and recovery.
• Design for trust across a multi-catalog world with third-party sellers and varying data.
• Drive long-term vision for creator commerce and overall conversion with leadership.
