Gaven Industries Inc. in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a Product and Sales Engineer to support product development and customer-facing efforts by providing technical, design, and product engineering expertise.

You will bridge Sales, Engineering, and Production, emphasizing producibility and DFMA, while coordinating designers through concept to production release and ensuring alignment with quality standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3–5 years of related engineering or technical sales support.
• Experience from concept to production release preferred.
• Experience coordinating with Manufacturing and Production preferred.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DFMA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and design support to the Sales team with product concepts and submittals.
• Lead engineering resources for product development and production-ready designs.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs using Autodesk tools.
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Lead designs from concept through production release.
• Apply DFMA, Lean, Six Sigma to improve producibility.
• Adapt existing products to meet customer needs while maintaining compliance.
• Support production during builds by resolving design issues.
• Maintain standardized configurations and design templates.
• Coordinate engineering changes and impact analysis.
• Participate in pre-sales design reviews and Stage Gate processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
