Qualifications

• Understanding of basic mechanical assembly.
• Able to read calipers and tape measures.
• Able to use hand tools including saw, grinder and sander.
• Able to perform physically demanding work (standing, bending, lifting 50 lbs).
• High School Diploma or GED required; 6+ months assembly/general labor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to meet customer requirements and production schedule.
• Examine and inspect parts; verify conformance of first article.
• Verify assembly per drawings and stated tolerances and QC requirements.
• Communicate with operators, supervisors, engineers, and management.
• Process production records, inventory items, and time sheets.
• Complete QC documentation and records.
• Maintain fixtures and tooling integrity.
• Keep all work areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Other duties as assigned.
