Job summary

NFI Industries seeks a Product Design Manager to gather requirements and map them to Manhattan and Softeon WMS solutions, driving the design lifecycle for new builds and changes. You’ll manage document control in Navex, collect input from stakeholders, and ensure designs meet customer needs while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or related field (recommended).
• 3+ years of experience using Manhattan and/or Softeon WMS in a 3PL environment.
• 2+ years gathering business requirements from stakeholders.
• This position does not have direct reports.
• Adept in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Demonstrated history of translating business insight into product experiences.
• Experience translating business requirements into documented process flows and business requirements documents.
• Passion, energy, and excitement, and high emotional intelligence to work with both creative and non-creative professionals.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate on both technical and non-technical levels.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong confidentiality practices.
• Capability to travel domestically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to provide requirements and design input for new customers.
• Understand business processes, best practices, and customer touchpoints.
• Lead WMS and Operational design discussions to drive timely, accurate decisions.
• Define integration data mapping, WMS processing, reporting, and layout impact on end-user experience.
• Understand capabilities of supported tools (Softeon and Manhattan) for 3PL operations.
• Incorporate updates to design documents and BRD/CONOPS for each account.
• Process user feedback to solve underlying problems for customers/end-users.
• Design and propose efficient best practices and product solutions.
• Establish SOPs and best practices to meet business needs and compliance requirements.
• Utilize Navex for document releases and signoffs.
• Create reviews and attestations in Navex for site training on SOPs.
• Facilitate product innovation workshops for process improvements.
• Compile lessons learned from deployments and update templates accordingly.
• Test new features and demonstrate prototypes to train users.
