Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Design to lead cross-functional teams in responding to RFPs/RFQs, designing integrated supply chain solutions, and driving innovative offerings across North America. You will collaborate with BD, engineering, operations, and finance to create competitive, compliant proposals and ensure successful implementation handover.

Qualifications

• BS degree (Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business) is required.
• 10-15 years of professional work experience including minimum of 3 years direct 3PL experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in industrial engineering and/or logistics engineering design capacity.
• Minimum 1 year in a Solutions Manager role inside a 3PL organization (RFP proposal support).
• 2 years of project management experience inside logistics and/or supply chain; 2 years of direct report staff leadership.
• Direct leadership and experience in 3PL services implementation.
• Expert business/financial acumen; experience with 3PL commercials and contract standards.
• Warehousing design and dedicated fleet design expertise; pricing experience in 3PL.
• Demonstrated experience in leading client-facing consultancy and engagement; workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional RFP project teams to provide an integrated customer solution and pricing during RFP cycles.
• Own the solution RFP and serve as the single program manager and contact point for sales on solution development.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, BD, and finance to input pricing and design data.
• Lead innovation initiatives and test pilots with key vendors and business cases.
• Ensure timely and accurate RFP responses with adherence to content and marketing standards.
• Manage handover to project management and remain on the project through to steady state.
