Job summary

NFI is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer III to advance engineering analyses and implement improvements across warehousing, transload, cross-dock, and transportation. You will communicate proactively with customers and NFI leadership, driving solutions with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

The role requires a BS in Industrial Engineering (or related), 2–5+ years in engineering design within supply chain, and proficiency with warehousing operations, routing software, and data

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering degree required or BS in a related field.
• 2-5+ years in engineering design within supply chain, transportation management, or distribution operations.
• Business acumen in finance, project management and 3PL implementations.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations.
• Experience with routing/scheduling software and transportation optimization.
• Facility layout, MHE, AutoCAD, and WMS tools experience.
• Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen leadership, and training capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering design projects using supply chain methodologies.
• Identify gaps and implement process improvements across warehousing, transport, and transload.
• Establish KPIs, data analytics, and performance measurement.
• Drive ongoing proactive continuous improvement with operations and customers.
• Provide engineering design and supply chain strategy recommendations.
• Interact effectively with customers and operational leaders.
