SharkNinja is seeking a Product Design Engineering Co-op in Needham, MA to drive concepts from early concept through market launch. You will sketch, CAD model, prototype, test, and iterate with cross-functional partners to create elegant, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program, or have graduated within the past year.
• Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with 5 days onsite in Needham, MA.
• Strong experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or Rhino).
• Strong experience using basic prototyping tools (3D printing, shop competency).
• Strong communicator able to clearly convey ideas, design intent, and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine concepts into manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate concepts into functional, consumer-ready solutions.
• Lead and contribute to design studies and investigations to resolve mechanical, usability, and performance challenges.
• Build, test, and iterate quick-turn, low-fidelity prototypes to inform design decisions.
• Balance ergonomics, performance, manufacturability, and feasibility across the product lifecycle.
