Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking an Industrial Design Co‑op in Needham, MA to be embedded in a cross‑disciplinary design team. You’ll work on the full product development cycle from early concepting to CAD and prototyping, collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Marketing to shape the visual and tactile identity of iconic Shark and Ninja products.

Ideal candidates are enrolled or recently graduated in industrial design, with strong CAD skills and a portfolio demonstrating a design process.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an industrial design bachelor’s or master’s program, or have graduated from one within the past year.
• Strong skills in SolidWorks or Rhino for product design and CAD workflows.
• Ability to create high-quality 3D renderings using Keyshot or similar tools.
• A compelling portfolio showing a product development process.

Responsibilities

• Support our Industrial Design leads on real product launches, from brainstorming to market.
• Translate consumer insights into bold, user-centered design solutions that are functional and emotionally impactful.
• Produce sketches, illustrations, and high-fidelity renderings for cross-functional teams.
• Create presentation-ready visuals and storytelling assets that influence design decisions at the highest level.
• Build visual and functional prototypes to test ideas and push boundaries.
• Collaborate with Engineering to deliver clean, production-ready CAD files from concept to manufacturing.
