Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Product Design Engineering Co-op in Needham, MA, to bridge industrial design and mechanical engineering. You will own open-ended design problems, move quickly from concept to rapid prototyping, and translate user needs into feasible solutions.

This program offers real-world engineering rigor and hands‑on experience from ideation to testing. You'll work 40 hours a week onsite, with portfolio emphasis and exposure to fast-paced development.

Qualifications

• Current student in third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, or enrolled in a master's program, or within one year of graduation.
• Academic focus on Industrial Design, Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD software and basic prototyping tools such as 3D printing.

Responsibilities

• Generate new product concepts with a user-centered approach emphasizing ergonomics and function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions meeting requirements and user experience.
• Lead design studies to address technical and UX challenges.
• Build and test quick prototypes and validate findings with user testing.
• Iterate designs based on technical and consumer feedback.
