SharkNinja invites motivated students to join the Product Design Engineering Co-op, a role blending industrial design and mechanical engineering. You’ll sketch, build, test, and iterate prototypes at the early stage of product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate insights into market-ready concepts.

You’ll work in Needham, MA onsite for 5 days a week, gaining exposure to real-world challenges, with a focus on user-centered design and rapid prototyping.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a related bachelor’s or master’s program or graduated within the past year.
• Full-time, 40-hour work week, 5 days onsite in Needham, MA.
• Strong communication of ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering, ergonomics, and human-centered design.
• Proactive, hands-on, with a balance of technical and user-focused thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Generate new product concepts with a user-centered approach focusing on ergonomics and functional innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions meeting functional requirements and user experience.
• Lead and participate in design studies to solve technical and user-experience challenges.
• Build and test quick prototypes (low fidelity) and extract findings from user testing.
• Translate insights into elegant, viable, and exciting product solutions.
