Job summary

Boeing North Charleston seeks a Product Data Management Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) to lead CM/DM across the airplane lifecycle. You will mentor teams, drive design reviews, and coordinate cross-functional integration to support the 787 program or comparable aircraft.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, integration of architecture, and adherence to lean processes within the ALIT framework. This is a first-shift, onsite opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' related work experience.
• Expertise in Configuration Management and Data Management for complex products.
• Experience conducting technical design reviews and audits across multi-discipline systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and integration of engineering architecture across the product lifecycle.
• Develop, manage and verify compliance of process and product baselines for highly integrated airplane products.
• Define, plan, coordinate and conduct product- and subsystem-level technical design reviews and audits.
• Lead evaluation of complex product trades and changes; develop change proposals with impacts, risks, mitigation, and implementation plans.
• Lead CM/DM standards rollout across IPTs and supporting functions.
• Define CM/DM requirements for hardware, software and engineering data systems across multiple functions.
• Assure integration of product elements; resolve cross-discipline interface issues.
• Develop and implement engineering program plans including schedules, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance on CM/DM practices and lifecycle processes.
• Work with minimal direction as primary technical integrator for airplane-level integrations.
