You will draft, review, and negotiate SaaS and software licenses, data sharing and research agreements, and procurement contracts; translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance for technical and non‑legal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one US state.
• 5+ years of legal experience advising technology or innovative companies.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial/tech agreements.
• Strong judgment, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical stakeholders.
• Client-service orientation with cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in emerging tech and AI tools alignment with high-quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary legal advisor to WHOOP product development and R&D groups across the lifecycle.
• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, software licenses, data sharing, and collaboration agreements.
• Structure and support research initiatives, IP, data use, and compliance considerations.
• Advise on IP, licensing, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements for new products and tools.
• Collaborate with security, privacy, and engineering to implement contractual data protections.
• Review product claims and marketing communications for substantiation.
• Provide practical guidance on confidentiality, trade secrets, and information-sharing practices.
• Identify legal risks and opportunities related to AI and emerging technologies.
