Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Product Counsel Lead to guide the legal strategy for autonomy and AI across product, engineering, and marketing teams in Sunnyvale.

You will help ensure compliance, manage risk, and align business goals with legal requirements. The role combines advisory work with ownership of IP strategy, contracts, and regulatory developments, offering significant impact in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience advising product teams on regulatory requirements for new technologies.
• 8+ years' law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably in technology companies.
• Active membership in one state bar.
• Demeanor to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, Design, and Business Teams.
• Lead cross-functional projects related to compliance, safety, and IP protection.
• Review product integrations for data protection, IP, and contractual obligations.
• Translate legal advice into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
• Manage our patenting program and advise on IP strategy.
• Build policies and playbooks addressing risk while enabling innovation.
• Review customer contracts and marketing materials for compliance.
• Collaborate with regulators and industry groups to stay current on developments.
• Assist with M&A transactions.
