Job summary

Progress Software Corporation is seeking a Product Counsel to join its legal team. The role blends in‑house counsel work with cross‑functional collaboration across product management, engineering, marketing, and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment for cloud offerings.

You will partner with teams globally to structure products and contracts that support business strategy while protecting IP, privacy and security interests.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on product design, development and release, marketing, data protection, security and compliance.
• Advise across product lifecycle from design to launch and distribution; address regulatory concerns.
• Draft, negotiate and review technology development, licensing and other commercial agreements.
• Support sales through documenting company agreements with customers and partners.
