Job summary

PEMCO is seeking a Principal Product Analyst to perform advanced quantitative analyses, steer product strategy with data-driven insights, and guide cross-functional teams across Product, Actuarial, and Data groups.

You will lead complex analyses, present findings to executives, and mentor analysts while shaping PEMCO's data strategy and warehousing practices. The role requires extensive experience in pricing analytics and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business, Economics, Math or related field required.
• 10+ years in corporate analytics focused on pricing/insurance or similar.
• Experience integrating and manipulating large data from multiple systems.
• Strong time-management and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong SQL, data visualization, and data modeling skills.
• Ability to present complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building scalable data infrastructures and reporting metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analyses to evaluate product performance and drive strategy.
• Present data visualizations to executives and stakeholders.
• Plan and manage large-scale projects independently.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Manager(s) and Actuarial teams on analytics strategy.
• Develop and document complex data workflows and processes.
• Advise on data fields, calculations, and methodology.
