Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Product Analyst II to support MEDITECH Expanse Change Control and Software Deployment processes. This role ensures due diligence in the software pipeline to deliver quality code with minimal user impact.

You will build relationships, create reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release processes and testing across clinical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of IT product support experience.
• 3+ years in healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships within the organization.
• Create reports for change control and audits as required.
• Aid management implementing change control and software release process improvement.
• Support change control for Clinical Systems and Clinical Informatics including deployments.
• Collaborate with Testing Services, MEDITECH Core Teams and others to ensure proper testing and enterprise communications.
• Support MEDITECH PWR processes with facilitation, Jira storytelling, and ad hoc reporting.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and develop operational dashboards in ServiceCentral and PowerBI.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Position Summary

This position supports the area of MEDITECH Expanse Change Control and Software Deployment processes. The objective is to ensure due diligence has been performed throughout the software pipeline so that quality code is consistently deployed without impact to the user community, field support and downstream systems.

Major Responsibilities

Administrative

• Build and maintain strategic relationships within the organization
• Strong communication skills to ensure customers and vendors understand work scope and have proper expectations for delivery
• Create reports for change control and audits as required

Operational

• Aid management implementing change control and software release process improvement
• Support change control process for Clinical Systems and Clinical Informatics
  • Includes deployment of software changes to include, but not limited to screen changes, macros, scripting, reports
• Work closely with Testing Services, Product Development MEDITECH Expanse Core Teams and other teams as needed to ensure
  • Proper testing of code changes
  • Communications to the Enterprise occurs
• Support the MEDITECH PWR processes within Clinical Informatics through meeting facilitation, Jira story management, stakeholder communications, and ad hoc reporting
• Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Develop and manage operational dashboards and reports within ServiceCentral and PowerBI
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree Preferred
• 5+ years of experience in IT product support Required
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare industry Preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors

• Knowledge, training, or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma Preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with MEDITECH Preferred
• Proficiency in using Jira for change management Preferred
