Job Summary And Qualifications

As a business analyst, you will be a central individual in our mission to transform HCA HR Group into a world-class people function, supporting more than 300k colleagues. You will directly support the VP of HR Strategy and Operations in developing HR’s strategy and supporting the execution of more than one hundred projects that build our HR capabilities and impact. As part of the newly formed execution office, the business analyst is responsible for establishing performance structures, solving complex challenges, providing data-driven insights, developing presentation materials, communicating across the HR Leadership Team, and accelerating strategic initiatives. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and program management skills to deliver effective solutions and drive lasting change, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Program Execution & Project Management
  • Support the oversight and acceleration of HRG’s strategic portfolio of projects, through identification, escalation and resolution of emerging barriers.
  • Implement new structures and processes, ensuring stakeholder alignment and adoption across HR Centers of Excellence, the HR Business Partner network, Finance and IT.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the program infrastructure and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement robust change management to facilitate seamless transitions for new business processes and technologies.
  • Ensure that timing, resources, and sequencing of work efforts are aligned to produce the desired result cost-effectively.
Analysis, Insights & Reporting
  • Conduct strategic, data-driven analysis to inform executive decision-making, roadmaps, and program feasibility.
  • Generate fresh insights by combining research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming.
  • Develop and apply quantitative analysis for operational insights and root cause identification.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform operational improvements and strategic planning.
  • Develop, maintain, and socialize dashboards and visual tools to support data-driven decisions and validate accuracy.
  • Create and deliver executive-level reporting and insights on program performance, risks, KPIs, and emerging opportunities.
Communication & Capability Building
  • Serve as a key liaison, fostering clear communication and ensuring alignment and accountability across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Communicate timely and effectively in a matrix environment to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop written and verbal communications and executive-level presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Design and implement capability-building programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
  • Provide strategic coaching and guidance to leaders and teams, including planning, resource coordination, execution, and measurement of outcomes., fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting, project management, technology or finance required
  • 3 + years relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in data compilation, analysis, data management, project management and consultative leadership preferred
Licenses, Certifications & Training:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
