Meijer in Michigan is looking for a store leader to plan, direct, and supervise team members across daily operations. You mentor staff, implement strategies to improve service, and ensure sales goals are met while maintaining store standards.

You'll handle staffing, hiring, and career development, promote a safe work environment, and model Meijer’s friendly service. Candidates should bring 2–3 years of retail experience and at least one year in a supervisory role.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Responsible for staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development needs for team members; involved in promotion decisions.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Ensures the team is thoroughly trained and completes required training.
• Spends majority of time in-store communicating with customers and team members to ensure exceptional service.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
