Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Lead to supervise Team Members and drive department flow in Boulder. You will oversee displays, train staff, and maintain stock while ensuring friendly service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, and maintaining high morale. The role requires reliable leadership, strong product knowledge, and the ability to manage inventory and customer needs in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience required.
• Experience supervising a team preferred.
• Knowledge of Produce department procedures and policies.
• Ability to manage inventory and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Works with Produce Trainer to train Team Members and minimize turnover.
• Assists in training of new Team Members with checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to delight customers.
• Trains, mentors, and counsels Team Members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations and communicates goals.
