Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Team Leader to supervise Team Members, manage daily department flow, and maintain compelling Produce, coffee, and juice displays. You will support the Produce Team Leader and Associate Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, training ability, and a focus on customer satisfaction. A minimum of 12+ months retail experience is expected, with the flexibility to work nights,

• Extensive knowledge of Produce team procedures and policies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with a high-performance focus and minimizes turnover.
• Assists in training new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given.
• Communicates concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters positive teamwork and morale.
• Understands customer flows and directs staff to enhance service.
• Trains and mentors Team Members to sustain performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models WFM vision and goals.
