Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Team Leader to provide overall leadership for the Produce department. You will oversee daily operations, profitability, buying, merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance while driving peer development and guest satisfaction.

You will hire, train, and coach Team Members, ensuring health and safety standards and adherence to SOPs. The role requires strong leadership and a customer-focused mindset to foster excellence across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team for daily operations and customer service.
• Knowledge of inventory control, pricing, merchandising and profitability.
• Commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance, with a plan to obtain certification if needed.

• Holds ATLs, supervisors and Team Members accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Makes hiring and separation decisions.
