Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Produce Team Lead to supervise daily operations, train members, and maintain engaging produce, coffee, and juice displays. You will support the Team Leader to ensure smooth department flow and uphold company standards for service, safety, and quality.

The role requires 12+ months of retail experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Capable of teaching others in a positive manner.
• Product knowledge relevant to Produce.
• Regulatory and safety policy understanding.
• Proficient in monitoring profitability and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Works with Produce Trainer to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members with checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures all break times are observed.
• Communicates concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high retail execution standards.
• Fosters positive teamwork and morale.
• Manages customer flow and responds to needs promptly.
• Mentors and counsels Team Members to reduce turnover.
• Delivers performance evaluations in a timely manner.
• Models WFM vision and goals.
