Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Produce Manager to lead the Produce Department, focusing on quality, inventory, and customer experience.

You will ensure clean and organized displays, manage scheduling, and coach staff towards excellent service and profitability. The role requires 1–3 years of produce management in grocery retail, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 1–3 years grocery retail management experience in produce.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and walking.
• Must have a Food Handler permit and flexible scheduling incl. nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Produce Department.
• Manage inventory, quality control, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Coach and review team performance; participate in merit decisions.
• Attend in-store meetings and lead by example as MOD when needed.
• Recruit, hire, promote, and collaborate with Store Manager on staffing.
