Job summary

SiCar Farms is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager – Sales in McAllen, TX. This hands-on role manages key accounts, acts as the primary contact, follows up on orders, resolves issues, prepares quotes, and develops existing accounts while prospecting new business.

You will collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Quality, and Finance, maintain an active pipeline, monitor pricing and profitability, and travel to visit customers and events as required.

Qualifications

• Previous produce industry experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of produce products, quality, seasonality, availability, pricing, and logistics.
• Experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service.
• Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and customer‑service mindset.
• Comfortable prospecting and developing new business.
• Proficient with computers; CRM and Excel experience is a plus.
• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer accounts.
• Coordinate orders, shipments, deliveries, quality concerns, claims, and service issues.
• Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Quality, and Finance.
• Communicate proactively
• Prepare quotes and develop sales opportunities.
• Maintain an active pipeline and accurate customer records.
• Support forecasting and monitor sales, pricing, margins, and profitability.
• Travel as required to visit customers, prospects, events, and business locations.
