Job summary

SiCar Farms Ltd Co in McAllen, TX is seeking a Full-Time Food Safety Manager to oversee and improve our food safety programs. This role requires coordinating with the Food Safety Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and robust safety practices across the site.

You will lead program development, drive training initiatives, and oversee certification readiness, while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to uphold high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to train staff and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Food Safety and Organic Programs.
• Support annual PrimusGFS and Organic certifications.
• Coordinate education and training of all employees with the Food Safety Manager.
• Liaise with external vendors for pest control, sanitation, and cleaning products.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure compliance with food safety practices.
• Plan and execute continuous improvement projects in food safety.
