Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to lead one of the store’s busiest teams and help customers make healthy choices. You will oversee ordering, inventory, merchandising, and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Maintain freshness standards, including receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and great customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, Weights and Measures and sanitation guidelines.
