Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of the busiest teams in our store.

You?ll assist the Produce Manager with merchandising, inventory controls, staff training, and ensuring freshness and safety standards are met in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role offers growth opportunities and dailyPay options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math abilities.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to follow directions in a team.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow safety and weight regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand and move for long periods and operate a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee inventory, product quality and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness and proper receiving, processing, pricing, and display.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and great customer service.
• Participate in hiring, teaching, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload store deliveries and maintain produce equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
