Sprouts Farmers Market in Yuma, AZ is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to lead one of our busiest teams and help customers make healthy choices. You will support the Produce Manager with ordering, inventory, training, and ensuring freshness and safety standards while delivering friendly, fast service in a high-energy store.

The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic produce department.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and train a Produce team.
• Strong organizational and inventory control abilities.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours.
• Must be 18+ and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Thrives in a fast paced environment.
