Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Phoenix seeks an Assistant Produce Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of the store's busiest teams. You will assist in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining freshness with strict safety standards, while coaching and developing staff.

You will also support scheduling, training, and performance feedback, ensuring a friendly, efficient shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math and measurement knowledge.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Out-going, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation guidelines including FOOD HANDLER permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager with department management and merchandising.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and supervise the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising, planning, goal setting and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, packaging, pricing and display.
• Lead and train the Produce team; hire and coach as needed.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment; ensure safety compliance.
• Support a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
