Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training in human services or customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous nonprofit customer service, program coordination, and database management experience a plus.
• Unencumbered State Driver’s License required.
• Must be willing and able to travel (mostly locally) for the organization.
• Must possess strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and other members of the Agency Services team.
• Proficiency in Windows based computer software with an emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing required.
• Exceptional organizational skills. Adaptable to change. Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the GCFB Produce Distribution, working primarily with organizations that serve older adults age 60+, by working directly with community partners to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and ensure compliance.
• Verify and update partner information in database and product orders with scheduled distribution regularly.
• Facilitate training and onboarding for Produce Distribution partners, making sure all sites are compliant in training and State/Federal regulation.
• Coordinate the GCFB CSFP program by working directly with older adults and community partners to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and ensure compliance.
• Support the administration of the CSFP distribution at the Community Resource Center(s) in collaboration with CRC team.
• Work closely with community partners to ensure timely application processing and renewal for CSFP customers.
• Work closely with Volunteer Services to ensure volunteer coverage for senior shopping day and CSFP distributions at the CRC.
• Process CSFP applications according to federal guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide quality customer service to CSFP and Produce Distribution partners and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain up to date files and documentation on the program sites. Ensure that all applications, agreements, and required documentation by Feeding America, State and Federal agencies are updated on an annual basis.
• Collaborate with the Food Sourcing and Operations GCFB team to create action plans for increased food literacy and issue/complaint resolutions.
• Work closely with community partners to record and report community feedback, questions and concerns. Collaborate with the Community Health, Nutrition, and Measurement team to host feedback sessions as necessary.
• Prepare email communication and other messaging to partners about important updates and changes.
• Assist with training and onboarding for CSFP and Produce Distribution partners.
• Conducts site visits at produce distribution sites and CSFP partners in accordance with state/federal/GCFB policy.
• Actively support and champion initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. May participate in one of the following: LEAN council, a kaizen, 5S campaign or other process improvement efforts to support continuous improvement and improved processes within the food bank.
