Job summary

Capital Area Food Bank seeks a Senior Hunger Strategies Specialist for the DC region to oversee the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program; you will lead enrollment, data tracking, and site monitoring to ensure program success. Collaboration with DC Health and partners is essential.

You will manage caseloads, coordinate trainings, and prepare reports while guiding CSFP and SHS site leaders in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field or AA with 2-3 years of related experience.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience working in an office environment and in a community setting; DC area travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage current participant caseload for the CSFP in the DC region.
• Submit weekly participation reports and prepare monthly rosters and sales orders.
• Lead CSFP enrollment, recertification, and site monitoring activities; ensure compliance.
