You’ll greet customers, rotate and replenish items, check deliveries, assist with pricing and merchandising, and follow sanitation standards in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers in choosing products.
• Maintain accurate stock, rotate produce, and ensure freshness and quality.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and assisting with their needs.
• Review merchandise for freshness, replenish and rotate stock to maintain quality.
• Ensure adequate product supply, follow production or merchandising lists, and anticipate daily needs.
• Check in product, store it properly, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as necessary.
• Maintain clean and safe work area, practice sanitation procedures.
• Remove trash promptly and assist with department upkeep.
• Order products and supplies and price items for customers as needed.
• Answer phones and provide helpful service to customers.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
• Support other tasks or special projects as they arise.
