Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service. The role involves rotating products, checking in deliveries, and helping customers find what they need to ensure a great shopping experience.

The position emphasizes teamwork, active movement, and adherence to sanitation and safety procedures, with training provided. Working in the Produce department, you’ll contribute to a positive in-store impression for customers.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and helping with needs.
• Review merchandise for freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure adequate product supply and prepare/ replenish items as needed.
• Check in product, price products for customers, and review invoices as needed.
• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines.
