You will keep shelves stocked, rotate stock, and provide helpful service to customers in a fast-paced store setting. Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking and merchandising, ensuring product freshness, following sanitation and safety guidelines, and collaborating with team members to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, counting.
• Clear communication with customers and coworkers.
• Learn sanitation, food safety, and department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their needs.
• Review merchandise freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality.
• Ensure adequate product supply and develop daily department production lists.
• Check in and stock product, review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as necessary.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Remove trash and help with general department upkeep.
• Order product and supplies and price items for customers.
• Answer phones promptly with friendly service.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and company guidelines.
