Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service. You will rotate products, manage deliveries, assist customers, and contribute to a clean, safe shopping experience.

Ideal candidates will be active, team-oriented, and able to follow sanitation procedures. This fast-paced role offers daily interaction with customers and opportunities to grow within the Hy-Vee Produce team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and help with their needs.
• Maintain fresh, stocked produce and rotate items.
• Monitor inventory and prepare lists for daily needs.
• Check in and stock deliveries; review invoices.
• Prepare and replenish products as needed.
• Keep area clean and safe, following sanitation standards.
• Assist with ordering and pricing for customers.
• Answer phone and provide friendly service.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and guidelines.
• Help with additional tasks and projects.
