Hy-Vee in the Produce Department is hiring a Produce Clerk. This role keeps the department stocked, fresh, and inviting, while delivering friendly service that helps customers find what they need and enjoy their shopping experience.

You'll work with a team to rotate product, check in deliveries, handle invoices, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. Training is provided, and the position offers active work with daily customer interaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly service
• Maintain stock, freshness, and rotate product
• Ensure adequate supply and prep daily production list
• Check in and put away product; review invoices
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as needed
• Practice sanitation and keep area clean and safe
• Remove trash and assist with department upkeep
• Order product and price items for customers
• Answer phones and provide helpful service
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and guidelines
• Assist with other tasks or projects as needed
• Support other department needs as required
